Best Florida Real Estate CE Courses (2026)
The state fixes the syllabus, so every FREC-approved provider teaches the same fourteen hours. What differs is the price, who files your hours with the DBPR, how fast your certificate arrives, and whether you can really do it on a phone. Here is how to tell them apart.

What a full renewal costs
Other major Florida real estate schools listed their full 14-hour renewal packages between $29 and $75 when we surveyed 4 of them in August 2026. Prices change without notice — check before you buy.
Comet CE's 14-hour bundle is $24.90, below that range — one purchase covering all fourteen required hours.
Six things that actually differ
This is the one that is not negotiable, and the one to check first. Hours from a provider the Florida Real Estate Commission has not approved do not count toward your renewal, however good the course is. Every legitimate school will show its approval; if you cannot find it, treat that as the answer.
Comet CE is a DBPR-licensed Florida real estate school, and every course carries its own FREC approval number.
Florida requires 14 hours each renewal cycle: 3 of Core Law, 3 of Ethics and Business Practices, and 8 of specialty electives. Some providers price those as separate purchases, so the headline figure is not what you end up paying. Compare complete packages, not single courses.
Our 14-hour bundle is one purchase at $24.90 and satisfies the whole requirement.
Your hours have to reach the DBPR before they count. A provider that leaves that to you is handing back the part of the job most likely to go wrong, and a missed filing lands on your renewal rather than theirs. Ask specifically who submits, and how fast.
We file your completed CE hours with the Florida DBPR on your behalf; you simply complete your renewal online with the DBPR and pay the fee â we handle the reporting.
The certificate is your own proof of completion, separate from the state filing, and it is the document you will be asked for if anything is ever questioned. Some providers mail it or batch it overnight. If you are renewing close to a deadline, that wait matters.
Your certificate is issued the moment you pass and stays in your account — nothing to wait for and nothing to chase.
"Mobile-friendly" and "usable on a phone" are not the same claim. CE gets done in the gaps of a working week, so the thing that decides whether you finish is whether the course remembers where you were and picks up cleanly on a different device.
Fully usable in a mobile browser, with native iOS and Android apps, and your place is saved as you go.
Online is not automatically self-paced. Some approved formats are scheduled or instructor-led, which is a real choice some people want — but if you are buying online CE to fit it around your own week, check that there is nothing to attend.
100% online and self-paced. Start the day you buy, and go at whatever speed suits you.
